About The Installation And Use Of American Standard Ball Valve
The American standard ball valve and the flange gate valve are the same type of valves. The difference is that the closing part of the American standard ball valve is a ball, which is a valve that rotates around the center line of the valve body to open and close.
So do you know how to install and use Ball Valve? What are the precautions?
1. Before operation, make sure that the pipeline and valve have been flushed.
2. The valve operation is completed by driving the valve stem to rotate according to the size of the actuator input signal. When the 90° forward rotation is 1/4 circle, the valve is closed, and when the reverse rotation is 1/4 circle, the valve is opened.
3. When the actuator direction indicator arrow is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is open; on the contrary, if the arrow is vertical to the pipeline, the valve is closed.
4. For various manual ball valves installed on insulated pipes, the handles cannot be downward.
5. The installation position, height and inlet and outlet directions of the ball valve must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and tight.
