The ball valves of the American standard ball valve can be divided into three categories according to the structural form. Let's take a look at what they are?

1. Floating ball valve

As the name implies, the ball of the floating ball valve is floating. Under the pressure of the medium, the ball will produce a certain displacement and press tightly on the sealing surface of the outlet end to ensure the sealing of the outlet end. The ball valve has a simple structure and good sealing performance, but the load of the working medium borne by the ball is fully transmitted to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it should be considered whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. This structure is widely used in medium and low pressure ball valves.

2. Fixed ball valve

As the name implies, the ball of the fixed ball valve is fixed. The fixed ball valve is equipped with a floating valve seat. After being subjected to the pressure of the medium, the valve seat will move, allowing the sealing ring to press tightly on the ball to ensure sealing. Generally, bearings are installed on the upper and lower shafts of the ball, with small operating torque, suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter valves.

3. Elastic ball valve

As the name implies, the ball of the elastic ball valve is elastic. The ball valve ball and valve seat sealing ring are made of metal materials, with large sealing pressure ratio. The sealing requirements cannot be met by relying on the medium pressure itself, and external force must be applied. This valve is suitable for high temperature and high pressure medium balls.

Ball Valve is widely used, and the products are widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, natural gas, aerospace, early knowledge, metallurgy, printing and dyeing, paint, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, grease, bioengineering, video beverages, water treatment and urban construction.
