Do You Know These Structural Features Of American Standard Ball Valves
The Ball Valve produced by our company has the following structural features:
1. Valve stem anti-flying structure
When the medium passes through the valve, the pressure in the valve body cavity may push the valve stem out. In order to avoid this situation, a boss structure can be set under the valve stem. In this way, even if there is a fire, the packing, thrust bearing is burned or the packing is damaged due to other reasons, the medium pressure in the valve body will make the valve stem boss and the seal on the valve body closely contact, preventing a large amount of medium from leaking from the damaged packing.
2. Anti-static device
During the operation of the American standard ball valve, the friction between the ball and the non-metallic material valve seat such as polytetrafluoroethylene will generate static electricity and accumulate on the ball. In order to prevent the generation of static electricity sparks, an anti-static device should be set on the valve to conduct static electricity.
3. Fireproof structure
The valve seat of the American standard ball valve adopts a special structure. When the non-metallic sealing surface material is burned in a fire, the metal ring can use the elastic force of the spring to push the valve seat to fit the ball and seal, thereby preventing the spread of fire and the outflow of medium.
4. No leakage in the structure
The connection between the valve body and the left body is sealed by a gasket. In order to prevent leakage caused by fire, high temperature, vibration, etc., the valve body and the left body are specially designed to be in metal contact to form a stop flange to ensure no leakage.
5. Automatic pressure relief structure
When the medium retained in the middle cavity of the valve changes due to factors such as the pressure of the pipeline system or the temperature of the medium, resulting in an abnormal increase in the pressure in the middle cavity, the medium in the middle cavity can automatically release the pressure by pushing the valve seat with its own thrust, thereby ensuring the reliability of the valve.
