What Are The Limitations Of Stainless Steel Ball Valves In Use

The closing part of the stainless steel ball valve is a sphere, which realizes the flow or closure of the valve by rotating the valve core. The stainless steel ball valve is light, small, simple in structure and reliable in sealing. Let's talk about the limitations of stainless steel ball valves in use.

1. We should pay attention to the maximum operating pressure allowed at the maximum and minimum operating temperatures shown on the Stainless Ball Valve nameplate.

2. If the valve seat and seal are made of PTFE or RTFE, the operating temperature should be -290℃-2000℃. The operating temperature of valve seats and seals made of other types should be checked by the KI factory.

3. The nominal pressure rating of the stainless steel ball valve indicates the maximum working pressure of the valve under normal temperature. (For example: PN4.0, indicating that the maximum working pressure is 40 Bar (4.0MPa) when the operating temperature is -290C~380C).
