Why Does The Pneumatic Ball Valve Leak?
There are two situations of Ball Valve leakage:
1. The pneumatic actuator leaks. 2. The butterfly valve is not closed tightly and leaks.
However, the second situation is less common, provided that the pipeline is gas-carrying, in which case the butterfly valve will not be used.
The first situation is also divided into two types:
1. There is a leak at the gas source joint, which can be removed and wrapped with raw tape, or the joint is worn and replaced with a new one.
2. There is a leak at the two end covers of the pneumatic actuator. Generally, it is because the compressed gas is not dried and input into the pneumatic actuator, which causes the seal in the cylinder to corrode for a long time, reduces the sealing performance, and causes leakage or cross-flow.
Remove the actuator and remove the end covers at both ends, replace the sealing ring, and replace a new pneumatic actuator.
